Sub Frame Connectors

OK, my car has 75,000 miles and the T-tops rattle like hell. I heard that subframe connectors and a strut tower brace would eliminate the rattles. Does anyone have any experience. I also heard that if it did help it would have been something I should have done when I bought the car.

Both will help the car feel tighter. You can get both a 2-point and 4-point strut tower brace. Many people agree on getting sub-frame connectors, but which ones becomes an arguement sometimes.

You know what I noticed about the sub-frames is that if you look at most of the manufacturers models, basically it looks like they're all the same thing! Some of them are beefier than others, like SLP's and RKSports, they have that diamond type subframe, looks like they will be heavier, but still pretty stout. LG Motorsports has the typical subframes, and, they add additional v-braces that connect to the subframes and are attached to existing bolt holes under the body. Which one is best? You got me. I have the LG Motorsports, I thought about saving some weight, and hey, the owner is Lou Gigliotti, who used to RACE 4 gen F-bodies in TransAm, so I figure he would know what design would work best with the least amount of weight.

Oh man!! I put my BMR tubulat subs on at 83,000 miles earlier this year & oh damn what a difference. I am the original owner of my '94 & wish I would have done them when I drove the car off the showroom floor. It eliminated a ton of noises I had. It also made the car feel like new & helped the handling too. I strongly recomend them as one of your first mods. I wish I knew then what I know now...

As far as which to go with that is probably a toss up.
