Question 3rd gen suspension to 4th gen suspension

I am thinking about switching to a 4th gen suspension system in my 1990 Camaro, and was wondering if anyone knew how it would hook up if it could be hooked up!!! Any info on such a swap as this would be extremely helpful.

No the front susp. from a 4th gen will not go into a 3rg gen. I think the struts would work but thats it. 4ht gens have a front cradle and 3rds dont.

The only reason to put a fourth gen suspension on a third gen car is to get a softer ride at the expense of handling. Third gen cars actually handle better on the skid pad than the fourth gen cars.

how about this, put some tight koni socks on the front apx 150ea. in summit, then throw on some ebachi lowering springs, there you got you best hadnling package for your car, and if you want to blow the big bucks ppick up a hot rod magazine from a couple months back they threw a Corvette ZL1 independant rear suspention in a 68, and if it will go there you can get it in a gen 3!!!!! anjoy if you can afford, Peace!!!

Is there any other way to soften up the ride in a 3rd generation without sacrificing the handling. i think this car had a lowring kit put in, it sounds like it wants to bottom out when I hit a bump hard enough. I realize everything will bottom out given the right dip in the road, just seems like this one does it on some that it shouldn't be bottoming out on. Clear?

Anyway, be as specific as possible, I can be kinda dense in the head if you know what I mean.

thanks in advance
