Just wondering-

-anyone familiar with the "GM wonder bar"? All I know is: it is a strut tower brace. Am I right-if not let me know! Also, if I am right- how much benifit would it be putting it on my 83 Camaro?
Thanks, Matt

Lotus is right re: description ...I have both in my car (also an '83 Z28)...along with a couple of other mods the car stays so completely flat in cornering it almost feels like it's leaning in the opposite direction ...if you corner hard like me you may want to consider an upgraded Drivers Seat. Hawks 3rd Gen Parts has the original "Wonder Bar" at a great price ...they also have an adjustable.

if your putting a big block in your car take every chance you can to strength that frame, having grown up on big blocks, i can tell you they will take every chance they can to twist your frame to shreds, it wouldnt be the first thing i would grab to strength the frame, but if you have the money i would make the investment, even on just draging, youll be surprised how much it stiffens up the front end.

Pix of Wonder bar:

I'd reccomend one as well. They really make a difference.

And why big block? Why not big cube small block? You can get a 454 small block now. Not sure on costs, but at least you wouldn't have to mod the chassis for placement.
...wow. that seal is getting worse.
