I've heard to do that to test your clutch, but you are supposed to do it in 5th or 6th gear. YOu are supposed to let the clutch out and the car is supposed to immediately stall. If it don't, your clutch is slipping.
Anyways, DUMBASS!! See the monkey jumpin' around? Sounded like one too I must add. Not sure why he had to do that. I've seen people in basically stock Ciivics dump the clutch and get the tires spinning. A good timed clutch dump and pulling on E-brake I would think would get the same results. But then again, I drive a Camaro, so I wouldn't know  - Chris
