It was a good run, but I've said farewell to the Z

I loved my car, but lately I've been itching for something different.

I finally found it and made a straight up trade.

Everything is new on this thing. I have receipts from the previous owner in excess of $13k

400 SBC with Hookers, a Holley Marine carb, and all new internals.
Rebuilt TH350, driveline, 12 bolt
All new brakes
Disk conversion in front
All new front suspension (springs, control arms, shocks, balljoints, drop spindles, teirods, idler arm, rebuilt steering box
All new R134 Air Conditioning with all new duct work, sliders, switches, etc.
Immaculate stock interior with headliner, woodgrain and original bench
5" front drop, 6" rear drop
New BFGs on new chrome moonies

What are you talking about Greg, those are some sweet floormats! I think your parents got Eric some for Christmas! LOL

Sweet truck man, I think those are some of my favorite body styles!

My dad has a friend who has a 71 C10 4X4, but he did a LQ4 swap and went all modern on the drive train. But still has the oak bed and the rest is all orginal.
His is the two tone blue and white

Thumbs up

Nice,1970?
I have a '72 GMC High Sierra 2500 4X4 sitting in storage awaiting restoration.
I drove it for 10 years from 1988-1998 and then retired it at 200,000 miles when the throwout bearing went bad.
It's all original and never been apart,350 4spd/205 with 4.10 gears.
My Dad bought it new so I know all the history and the dealer where it originally came from.

Same truck back in '84 when Dad came up from Oregon for a visit, still had the old split rims on it and I still had lots of hair lol.
