new guy and a quick question

Hey everyone jstu joined as i am startign to get into the camaro stuff. I got a quick question for all. Im looking at buying a 1993 camaro with a 6 cyl and z28 rims on it. really clean car and freshly painted and a replaced dealer motor. Car has 130K on it motor has abotu 45K on it and paint is year old. The guy is looking for 3500 for it . Is that a good price? I know i know i shoudl go for a v8 but insurance is an issue right now also.

honestly, V6 Vs. Z28, not going to matter insurance wise, its still a camaro. I personally would look for a Z28.

thats to expensive for a v6 and it doesnt have the original motor.

3500 for a v6 with 140K on the frame and trans.(if it's an auto 140K is alot for it and it'll probably need replacing real soon) and not the original motor is very high. I'd offer 2 or less for it.

Unhappy MY OPINION

I had a '91 Camaro V6 and it really didnt make a big differance on my insurance. I pay'd about 2K for it. You might wanna look into other insurance co.'s

Also, if it doesnt have the stock motor, be very careful!!!

Have it checked before buying or it might come back and kick you in the nuts.

go for a z28. I say that because i just sold my rally sport to get a z28 and my insurance only went up ten bucks. i pay 150 a mounth. thats not bad.
