Buying cutout

Hey guys just curious what's the diameter size of the regular stock exhaust. I'm buying a cutout for my car but I don't want to cut up my catback. So I decided to put it right before the catback system. Does anyone know the size of this piece? I believe it's called the I pipe. I need to know so that I order the right size.

Stock exhaust size is 2.75". Order a 3" cutout, mine fit perfectly.

Get the 3'' size, the true stock exhaust is slightly smaller than that, but 3" will be the best fit for ya.

But this 3" will fit on the stock section. I'm not going to put it on my catback so you know. Just want to clarify this.

3 inch here too..i took 2 mustang tail pipes and made reducer pipes, but you could prolly just weld it right on to the stock exhuast if you needed.

The cut-out goes underneath the rear passanger seats in the I-pipe. Ive had mine open for over three years and love it, but Im going with a new exhaust setup so I wont be running my cutout anymore.
