5th gen camaro spotting

so i have this friend who works at this place called "oil express", don't know if it's a national chain or not, but they basically do all the fluids and brakes and what not. but anyway, i was talking to my bud who works there and he said the brand new 5th gen camaro came into the shop for a fluids change. i didn't believe him at first, so i continually asked him if he was was sure/lying. he assured me he was possitive and wasn't lying. he also said it had the LS7 IN IT!!! he would have no reason to lie to me about this, so i'm thinking that i might believe him. but my question is, could this spotting be possible or was my friend lying? under what circumstances could this be true?

I wouldnt think it to be true... they could have it out and about for publicity but I would seriously doubt they would take it to a place called "oil express" for an oil change.

yeah man total BS first it isnt for sale yet 2nd the new camaro is a resonablly priced car at 25-30k, the LS7 is a 13k crate motor, and they arent gonna put it in a 25-30k car. major bs

and also it is gonna have the LS2 in it not LS7. And i doubt it will be on public streets its still a concept car, and GM wouldnt bring it to a oil changing place to get its fluids changed, the people at GM would prolly do it themselves.

first of all there isnt a "New" 5th gen... There is only ONE Camaro Concept car and I seriously doubt that GM is going to bring it to a quick lube place for an oil change... Why would they bring a 15 million dollar irreplaceable car to a $20 oil change joint and risk something happening to it...

Second, the concept has the LS2 currently, not the LS7. Also, I doubt they are going to drive it very far considering it doesn't have an alternator and runs on the battery.

If you want to mess with him, ask him a few details about it...

So the one in the Transformer's movie is 'computer animated'? It's a real concept... I doubt they decked it out with the LS2 or whatever, but it's at least another version. And I thought there were two 'show car' Concepts, a red one and silver one... the red doesn't have an engine though right?
