Check out this incredible new hybrid motorcycle/tank FAKE or REAL??

Check out this incredible new hybrid motorcycle/tank tread vehicle called The Hyanide from German designers Oliver Keller and Tillman Schlootz for the 2006 Michelin Challenge Design. The Hyanide can basically take you anywhere you want to go, from snow to sand to mud with ease and at speeds of up to 75-85 mph! To drive it, you basically have to stradle a massive flexible rubber tank tread that arches from front to back when going into sharp turns. All you ATV and snowmobile "enthususiasts" would flee in pure terror as I hunt you down on one of these, but unfortunately, right now it only exists as a one-fifth scale model and has no plans for production... yet. This thing should be in a James Bond movie, it's awesome! Let us know your thoughts in the Comments.

Official Hyanide Specs:
Purpose: To move riders over any terrain with unprecedented control
Capacity: Two riders
Engine: 60hp 500cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder
Dimensions: 40 (h) x 36 (w) x 90 (l) in.
Weight: 450****–650 lbs. (est.)
Top speed: 75–85 mph (est.)

do you think its real of fake??

ummmm......how the hell would you turn it

cause with a tank and a catapillar you have 2 treads that can be turned in opposite directions and with a wheel it turns

but if you try to pivot that thing from teh center it woul just pop the tread off the wheels

If you follow the link it explains how it turns.

"Both the front and rear of the Hyanide rotate into a turn, which would give riders extra control while making sharp turns or climbing hills. To drive the vehicle, you’d steer with your hands as well as your feet, and you’d wear special shoes that snap onto the pedals, like on a racing bicycle. To turn left, for example, you’d push the right side of the handlebar forward, to point the front of the tread left—it’s the same motion as on a motorcycle. At the same time, however, you’d also push back on the right pedal, angling the rear of the tread into the turn. This action would twist the tread into a crescent shape and whip the Hyanide around a turn."

i would be worried about the tread poping off at high speeds or while turning

I'm with Blake on this one. I don't think you could rotate both wheels and keep the track in place. There is no way that I can see to turn it. I say fake.

I don't know about that. Some engineers are capable of making things that look impossible a reality. I have read about this a while ago and I am pretty sure this is no fake.
