My Hatch switch doesnt work either, but neither does my Dome light, and my Speed Guage goes on and off, and the light by 0 or 5 whatever it is goes on and off too, it usually works when the speed odometer works, also if you change the fuses the Dome and hatch work then go out like a few days later???? any ideas?

Anyone have any ideas? I see people viewing but not saying anything, if it doesnt make any sense then let me know I'll try to explain whatever anyone doesnt get, also my lights get brighter when I give it gas, and I took it to the repair shop, but it costs $1100 to fix and my car is not worth that much if you seen my pics in the gallery, so if someone can help me out from spending that much then anything would be great.
What year is your car? You have an intermittent short and they are hard to find. Start by visually checking the associated wiring.

it sounds like you have open wires and there grounding out where there not suppost to thats why the fuses are blowing
well that sounds like it could be that, hmm now just what do I do to fix somethin like that or is that even possible, considering it could be like any wire in the car right, and Im guessing thats why it costs so much to get fixed, dang
You have to trace the wire from the source untill you find the problem. It helps if you have a good drawing that tells you where connectors or splices are located.
