    Supercharged Blower

Can a blower be installed on a fuel injected camaro. I'm talking about the three valve intake sticking out of the hood. I know that a cowl inducter works better, but scoops and blowers sticking out of the hood just looks cooler. Is it possible to install one on a 96 Z28

no, what you are talking about is a roots or screw style blower with either a 3 butterfly scoop on top or an injector hat(what top fuelers use which is where the style originated). I personally run a roots blower on a chevy longbed truck with a 400. You can click on WWW under my post and check out my website but to answer your question. The newer car computers are not set up to run this nor could you possibly fit a roots blower in a 4th gen F-body with the way the intake is directly under the windshield. That is why they make centrifigal superchargers for space confined cars such as ours. I hadn't bought one b/c I would be disappointed in the performance of a centrifigal-they operate off of high rpms. roots/screw style blowers push lots of air in with every turn of the rotors or screws inside of them so the torque that the blowers you are talking about is INCREDIBLE, you might get 80-100HP off of a centrifigal but it will be at the mid-high rpms, similar to a turbo.
