    Talking Transmission Painted

I just got done tonight painting my transmission. Took me an hour and a half (get really fussy when i have to paint things on my car) to get all the sensors and bolt threaded area sealed off. Any way i painted it gloss black since i had the transmission out. Figured i might as well do it now. It will help me out by keeping the heat down and especially all the dirt and oil that collects on it. Took me two big cans of Gunk to de-grease it. Well atleast it came out nice.
Toom so long to prep it and oly 15 minutes to paint it.

I used 500 F temp paint that has ceramic particles in it. I recommend painting your tranny if you have it out. Its worth the hassel.

That only applies when it is in contact with sunlight but its under my car so the next time it sees sunlight, is when i swap in my viper tranny if thats possible.

B&B transmissions sells a kit for $700. It's a Camaro t-56 conversion to a T-56 viper transmission. So you dont have to buy a whole new viper tranny. Everything will line up just like stock but this time the tranny will hold 30% more power than our stock t-56's.

I plan on doing that once i buy a new rear end for the car.
