    smokey

i did the heads, cam, and gaskets on my 85 tpi z28 because it was smokining really bad. after i got it running it was still smoking with the entire exhuast system hooked up. i disconnected right after my exhuast manifolds and no more smoke. it sounds like to me that the ex. system is full of oil and crap and needs to be cleaned or replaced. anyone every run into this? your thoughts are appreciated.

    blue smoke is oil
    white is coolant or condensation
black is fuel or carbon or something

    white is no worry.

my dads old station wagon we havent started in years, started right up but white smoke poured out of the exhaust for like 10-15 mins then cleared up. and it might be easier to buy new exhaust if u want to...

You should probably just go ahead and run a new cat back or build your own exhaust with just mufflers
    ..there goes reality

With a new set up. It probably would be best to get a new exhaust system as well
