Nitros?

Im gonna sound like an idiot but , can someone explain how nitros works on a with a carb and with fuel injection?

With a carb most kits come with a plate that sits under the carb that has a bar running through it with small holes in the bar. On one side of the plate you will have your fuel sol. and on the other you will have your nitrous sol. Other than that its your basic nitrous kit and they do have micro switches that are available for carbs like the fuel injection has for the throttle body so your nitrous wont engage until you are at full throttle.

For fuel injection you can either use a fogger nozzle that you mount in the bellow or Maf housing that has both lines running to it from the nitrous and fuel solenoids. They also offer plates that go behind the throttle body that is basically the same design as the carb which is better in my opinion cause there isnt too many stable places you can put a nozzle in a rubber bellow

To add to Mr. Fantas answer to you Mr. Joe........

1) Most carb'd plates are wet kits (using fuel and Nitrous)

2) EFI can go both ways, dry and wet (dry is Nitrous only)

I'm mostly a carb'd Nitrous user, but mess with EFI cars with wet kits only. I do not like dry shots of Nitrous.........
